The Sunshine Daisy Textured Fruit Bowl is hand-built using midfire clay, underglazed and gloss glazed for shine and strength. Each bowl is lovingly handmade and hand painted with original designs by Kathy Gardiner using brush underglazes. Add a little sunshine to your day!
Description:
- Beautifully simple yet bold in statement design. Multiple stylised white and yellow daisies nestle into a soft mint base, enveloped by a white textured exterior. Dark Green handles offset this design.
- Large fruit bowl hand textured with circular imprint form the exterior of this bowl.
- Measuring approx. 215 mm (diameter), 55mm (bowl height), 88mm (height with handles)
- Weighs approx. 665g
- Decorative.
- While glazed, this bowl has experienced some pulls in the glaze - due to this it is recommended only to use this bowl for sealed fruit or decoration. Please do not use as a salad bowl (for wet foods) as bacteria can trap in the small glaze imperfections.
- No two pieces are the same.
IMPERFECTIONS - A small raised bubble on interior. Glaze imperfections at the handles of the vessel (see images) where the glaze has slightly pulled however these imperfections do not effect the overall functioning and decorative nature of this piece. This vessel is fully glazed however it is not recommend for salads / wet foods.
A sweet fun loving design popping with vibrant sunny warmth. Sunshine Daisy is sure to put a smile on your dial and a skip in your step. I mean, who doesn't love daisies? Drew Barrymore pretty much created a daisy movement in hairstyles alone, beyond the flower children of the 70s (of course!). If you don't know what I am talking about... google!
